Yellowstone: Old Faithful

We pulled-up stakes and headed for Yellowstone National Park yesterday. Along the way, we fueled-up at Flying J in Billings, Montana; after filling up we pulled in-between two 18-wheelers and settled in for a good-nights sleep. The next day we arrived at Yellowstone Holiday RV Park around noon, we are on lot #11 and it is lake front on Hebgen Lake, I love a water view!  This will be a fabulous place to stay for the next few days while we are waiting for the Entegra SummerFest to start in Big Sky on Saturday.

After we parked the coach, we hit the ground running.  Driving through the west side of Yellowstone we saw many areas with steam rising up from the ground, I knew we would see some steam but I never imagined it would be so numerous. When we got to the open vast area to see Old Faithful we took a seat on a bench. It was a friendly crowd we were sitting with. We were waiting for 45 minutes but
everyone was talking it made the time fly by. This was the first time seeing the famous geyser for most of us in our new little group. Old Faithful did not disappointed, it is magnificent.
