The Black Hills Roundup Rodeo is one of the oldest continuously held outdoor rodeos in America. We enjoyed watching the cowboys and cowgirls compete in barrel racing, bronc riding, bull riding, and roping. There was a storm brewing as the sun went down. We were lucky, the rain did not start until the rodeo was over. They still had a great fireworks show after the rodeo, we watched from the jeep.
